PICTURES OF THE BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS
HUBBY GAVE ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY
Wow, how the years seem to fly by so quickly, it seems like you just pack away the christmas decor and its time to pull it out again. I have been a really bad blogger lately, so i figured it was time to make a post. I do try to stop in and read once and while, but always seems i'm on the run and never get back to leave a comment. Our oldest daughter was home from college last weekend to celebrate my birthday and decorate the christmas tree, its been a tradition for years. I would say they did a pretty good job. I remember the days when the girls would decorate the tree and all the ornaments were in clusters and mom would rearrange after they were fast asleep. I haven't been doing much in the way of home decor, but im sure the bug will bite after xmas. I do have a painting project, the cabinet that the christmas display is sitting on in my header is getting painted. I hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Janet...
Happy...Happy Birthday, my friend! Ohhh my...your flowers are simply gorgeous...what a sweet honey to give them to you! That green crysanthemum is divine!!!
So nice that your daughter got to come home for Thanksgiving and decorate your tree for you! It's beautiful! I have 3 daughters, all grown with families of their own now...but when they were still at home, decorating the tree was always their job! They loved doing it! And yes...I remember a few years that I would have to move a few ornaments around as well! Sweet memories!!!
Ooooh...love that pretty cabinet in your header photo! What color are you painting it? Your Christmas vignette is sooo pretty, Janet! I love how you used Christmas ribbon at the bottom of your cloche for the pretty ornaments to sit on! I love that idea!
Warmest wishes and Christmas Blessings to you and your family...

Hi Janet,
I was wonderful to hear from you! Yes, it has been too long, but life happens and as you know we get busy. I’m happy at least I get to wish you a belated Happy Birthday! How nice your girls could be with you on your special day.
Your tree looks festive and pretty, just perfect for Christmas. I also really like your seasonal header. I can never take decent photos of cloches, and love them. Maybe Santa will bring me a new camera if I’m lucky. I hope you’re keeping warm up north; we have yet to have snow yet. Barely a dusting last week, but we are expecting something Thursday. My husband bought a new snow blower and he is itching to try it out. Be well and whenever we connect is a treat, it’s nice to have you as a blog friend.
Hugs, Cathy
I like your Christmas header :-) Cool that Santa is the "I" :-) Your tree looks great too, and love the snowflakes in your window :-)
Hope you had a great birthday and enjoyed spending time with your college daughter :-)
I've got the two big trees up and most of the decorating is done. Just need to decorate my two little Belgian trees :-) I'm cutting back a bit this year -- all part of the efforts to de-clutter!!

Been a while since we had a little visit.
I LOVE your header picture - - - that's my kind of decorating. Not so much goo and gaw that it overwhelms - - - just the RIGHT touch.
Merry Christmas season to you and yours.
