Oooh yeah, I love the metal & crystal chandelier with the rustic wood table!! The dark frames around the french doors to the patio are great too. I like how they repeat the glass in the cabinet doors. I think the table needs more comfortable stools, though!!

YES, we're FINALLY redoing the kitchen -- I can't wait!! It's the only room on our house that hasn't been touched since we moved in 7-1/2 years ago. Well, unless you count changing all the door & drawer handles ;-)

Happy Birthday & Happy Grad to your girls!! :-)

Janet, I love those rooms, just my style. You slow down and take a break , it sounds like you could use one. I have been busy too and thinking to myself, do I really want to continue with this blog thing... and then you go and leave the sweetest comment and I up and post once again...thanks!

Hi Janet,
Love your taste in inspirational rooms. They look so serene and relaxing... just what you need! I know this is an exciting and busy time of the year. Congrats on the graduate and goodluck with college!

I could definitely have some flour fun in that kitchen. I read your last post and had to chuckle because I never know what to do with things in my house. I am decorator challenged. Can't put two things together so when they say to group things in 3s I am clueless:) My saving grace is cooking and baking but presenting it on the table is a disaster:)

Hi Janet,
I feel this week has flown by and I have missed so many good posts. I understand about your daughter leaving the nest. When my daughter left for university I told myself it was such an exciting time for her and I was happy she was learning and doing something for her future. That helped me get in a good mind set. Your daughter is so lovely and beautiful. You should take a picture all dressed up for her prom. Cathy
